Hyper-minimalistic posters of the Children's stories we grew up knowing and loving. Christian Jackson's conceptual approach on popular stories as Goldilocks & the three Bears, The princess and the Pea and thirteen others is both refreshing and mesmerizing. I love how you only need one (beautifully designed) hint to set off your imagination. read more » about Children's stories posters

Ok, just how cute are these Mugtails from the Japanese brand Kinto? These mugs come in different sizes, designed to match the size of the forest animals depicted in relief.
The tails of the different animals are on mat finished mugs, to use for your favourite drink. But they make a pretty good candleholder too. read more » about Mugtails

Today I'd like to share with you the birth announcement I made for our daughter Evie. She was born in October which is why we wanted to use Fall colours like dark brown and red. The name Evie translates as "the start of life" and is the main thought for this card printed on growing paper; double layered organic paper filled with seeds. read more » about Evie

I love it when an interior design or art project embraces user participation. In this installation for the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art, artist Yayoi Kusama created a completely white living space, serving as a giant canvas. In the next two weeks, the museum's smallest visitors were invited to sticker it in thousands and thousands of coloured dots. read more » about The Obliteration Room

I already had my eye on these cute little cottages, the latest product design of Eindhoven based Ontwerpduo, when I read a tweet from Sandra from BijzonderMOOI about a competition to win one of these scale model treehouses.
Ofcourse I entered immediately... and what do you know? I won!
I love how these mini houses play with your sense of scale; ordinary houseplants will be turned into huge trees or fields. read more » about Cottage Town

These pillows are inspired by the lines in typical Dutch landscape and made from wool felt in both sober & bright colours. Designed by urban/ fashion designer manon Garritsen who based her designs on the work of photographer Ger Dekkers. I love how these pillows are both modest and eye catching.

Either for the true minimalist or to serve up a spectacular looking dish; shallow plates Piatti and Dough. Piatti has a soft outline that frames up your food on the table surface, while Dough has soft edges and look pretty edible themselves.
These shallow plates are machined from Corian®, a solid surface material best known for being used as kitchen worktops and other high quality seamless surfaces. read more » about Studio juju
